Adding a Moderator to your Yahoo! Group (Neo version)

Once you have created your Yahoo! Group, you will need to add your colleagues and your EVO mentor as moderators. Here's how to do that.

You need to have your co-moderator or mentor join your YG first. Then you will promote that person to moderator status:

1. Go to your YG and sign in. Click on Management  on the bottom right of the header image. Next you should click on Manage Members (Figure 1).

Figure 1. Select Manage Members

2. Locate the member on the Members page.

3. Click on his/her display name (Figure 2)

Figure 2. Select   Display Name

4. On the Edit Member page, click on the menu Role.

5. Select all the options offered (Figure 3), but you might want to leave Delete group blank. (Accidents happen.)

6. Be sure to click on the  Moderator button at the bottom of the page to confirm.

7. Be sure to >SAVE your changes with the button.
