Week 3 – Nov. 2-8

Discussion leaders: Laine Marshall and Susan Marandi

Activities

1. Continue building your Yahoo group or other online space you chose to be your session's hub. (Be sure your space has a good email system.) Be sure to enter the link to your YG/online space at the wiki Your Sessions 2010 and in the LINKS area of our Mods YG. Also, post a link to your  session revised syllabus.

2.  In this syllabus revision, include detail activities that will enhance participation, as suggested in our readings and discussions, and incorporate the suggestions the Coordination Team made to earlier. Link this page from the first column in our table at Your Sessions 2010. When working on your weekly tasks, we recommend making folders or having specific online spaces for each week to contain the questions, assignments, or activities for that week.

3. Invite comments on your YG/online space from your mentor and from the EVO_Moderators YG (are you linked?). You're going live!

4. Be sure to join Tapped In (TI) early this week. After you register (for free), you will receive an email confirmation. We realize you may not all make it to every chat, but please experiment with this medium.

5. Download and install Yahoo! Messenger. We use YM for back channel communications--in case TI or other medium has problems, or to manage participants "behind closed doors." Be sure to add all of us to your Friends' List in YM.
