Here are a few things you can do before the training session begins

1. Do some reading

We always ask that everyone read (or reread) How EVO Differs. It should help you understand us a little more .
If this is your first time with the EVO, you may also want to have a look at

the very short What is EVO? (a definition of EVO and its relationship to TESOL by Elizabeth Hanson-Smith)
Professional Development: The Electronic Village Online of the TESOL CALL Interest Section by founding coordinators Elizabeth Hanson-Smith and Christine Bauer-Ramazani, and/or
EVO as Professional Development by Aiden Yeh et al. (about the EVO sessions in 2010)

2. Join our EVO2018_Moderators Google Plus Community by clicking on the Join (or Ask to Join) button

3. Complete this brief Needs Assessment Survey.

4. Take a look at EVO Previous Sessions to see what others have done in the past.

5. Install the Blackboard Collaborate plugin and get connected

The first live meeting will be held in Bb Collaborate, which is available for you to use in your online sessions if you wish.

For those who cannot connect there will be a live stream for you to go to, and a live text chat where you can interact with the live audience.
