A Summary of Moderator-Participant Roles

The image below summarizes the potential roles of participants and contributors to an online community.

The moderator can assist participants in the EVO in attaining higher levels of participation and hence in feeling a part of the community. Participants who become commentators gain the most benefit from online learning and teaching.
